What we process

Navigation data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of access. Collected in aggregate form to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Data you send us. If you write or call, we process what your message contains in order to answer it. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). This site has no contact forms.

Marketing data. Only if you accept marketing cookies, LinkedIn and Google Ads may link your visit to an advertising campaign. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time.

Umami	Traffic statistics, hosted on our own servers, with no cookies and no persistent identifiers. No profiling, no cross-site tracking. Legitimate interest.
LinkedIn Insight Tag	Measures LinkedIn campaigns and builds advertising audiences. Sets third-party cookies. Loaded only after your consent. Controller: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.
Google Ads	Measures Google campaign conversions. Sets third-party cookies. Loaded only after your consent. Controller: Google Ireland Limited.
Google Fonts	Typefaces are requested from Google servers, which receive your IP address. No cookies are set.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Refusing marketing cookies does not restrict your use of the site in any way.

Transfers outside the European Union

LinkedIn and Google may transfer data to the United States, on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Aggregate navigation data is kept for as long as it is needed for statistical analysis. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, where a commercial relationship follows, for the periods required by Italian civil and tax law.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing and withdraw consent (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to contatto@caramellosrl.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
