Grid code and standards
What Italy actually asks of your plant.
This is the first question most manufacturers ask us, so here it is in one place: the standards that decide what can be connected, with which protections, and with what paperwork.
| Reference | Where it applies |
|---|---|
| CEI 0-16 | Technical rule for connection to medium voltage networks. Sets the connection scheme, the general protection and interface protection systems, and the content of the operating agreement. |
| CEI 0-21 | The same ground for low voltage connections, on smaller installations. |
| CEI EN 61439-1/2 | Construction and verification of power and distribution assemblies. Every board leaving our workshop is built to it. |
| CEI 64-8 | Electrical installations of buildings: protection, isolation and coordination with the existing plant distribution. |
| CEI EN 62933 | The series covering electrical energy storage systems: parameters, safety and system requirements. |
| Terna Grid Code | Requirements for plants providing services to the electricity system, driving the regulation performance asked of the installation. |
| IEC 61850 / Modbus TCP | Protocols for communication between EMS, protection relays, switchgear and plant supervision. |
Deliverables
What you are left holding at handover.
Drawings in an open format
Schematics delivered in a format that opens without a proprietary licence. If you change supplier later, the drawings remain yours and usable.
Assembly documentation
Verifications, tests and declarations required by CEI EN 61439, with the full bill of installed components.
Commissioning records
Functional tests, protection settings and the interface commissioning report agreed with the distribution operator.
Send us a connection point.
With the single-line diagram and the delivery point data we can tell you whether the route works before it becomes a site problem.
